The UT Global Initiative will work with the International Office on theWashington Fellowship for Young African Leaders as part of the White House’sYoung African Leaders Initiative. UTGI is coordinating a series of Leadership Seminars for the participants, which will be taught by faculty and staff from the UT Austin community. These seminars will focus on leadership techniques, project management skills, and overcoming challenges in entrepreneurship.
The Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs chose The University of Texas at Austin as one of only 20 schools to host the first year of the program, which will bring 25 promising young entrepreneurs and leaders to Austin from June 15-July 26. The program theme for the group is “Business and Entrepreneurship.”
